The Kilodegree Extremely Little Telescope (KELT) survey consists of two robotic telescopes that are conducting a survey for transiting exoplanets around bright stars.
The NASA Exoplanet Archive contains about 7.0 million light curves in 28 KELT Northern and Southern fields. Additionally, the archive hosts an older data set of the Praesepe field that was previously referred to as KELT. As of May 4, 2015, it has been re-named to KELT-Praesepe.
KELT consists of two telescopes: KELT-North (Pepper et al. 2007), which observes the northern hemisphere from Winer Observatory in Sonoita, Arizona, and KELT-South (Pepper et al. 2012), located in Sutherland, South Africa, which surveys much of the southern hemisphere. Each telescope has a Mamiya 645 80 mm f/1.9 42 mm lens with a 4k x 4k Apogee CCD on a Paramount ME mount. The KELT telescopes have a 23" pixel scale, a 26° x 26° field of view, and a 20-30 minute cadence.

General Information |
KELT used a Kodak Wratten No. 8 filter. The filter essentially transmits all light redward of 500nm. In practice, the filter acts as a very broad Johnson R-band filter, which we call RK.
Because all data in the set were taken with the above filter, we calibrated the absolute magnitudes of the observations to RK, listed as Johnson R, even though there is a significant color term that could be as large as -0.3 magnitudes for very blue stars, to +0.8 magnitudes for very red stars. Details of the photometric calibrations and other data reduction steps are given in Siverd et al. (2012), with a more comprehensive discussion of the filter and calibrations in the KELT instrumentation paper (Pepper et al. 2007).
Exposure times were 150s.
